Dr. Roberto Akyuwen STP, SE., M.Sc.

Founder & Commissioner

Roberto Akyuwen, the President Commissioner of PT Jaringan BPR Nusantara, possesses strong, adaptive, and innovative leadership. Born in Ambon on March 19, 1970 , he holds a Doctorate (Cum Laude) from the Faculty of Economics, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta in 2003 , with supervisory research at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany, New York . He has held a Master's degree (Cum Laude) since 1997 from the UGM Master of Development Economics Program . He also holds two Bachelor's degrees from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, UGM , and the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Terbuka .


Has quite extensive work experience as a Civil Servant (PNS) in the period 1994–2013 , namely in the Maluku Provincial Government , Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs , Poverty Alleviation Committee , Ministry of Social Affairs , and Ministry of Finance .


From January 2014 to July 2025, he pursued a career at the Financial Services Authority (OJK) with positions he held as Senior Executive Analyst and Head of the OJK Offices in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, and Banten Province . He is actively involved in academic activities, such as teaching, mentoring, and testing at various universities, as well as writing journal articles . In addition, he has written quite a number of books , with the last three being entitled Digital Banking Transformation: Utilization of Integrated Solutions , Bank Cybersecurity , and Banking Regulatory and Supervisory Technology (Regtech and Suptech) .


He has served as a Consultant for the International Labour Organization – Advisory Support, Information Services and Training Asia Pacific (ILO-ASIST AP) , the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) , and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) , as well as the President Commissioner of PT Mitraperkasa Abadi (Microfinance Consulting Services) . He has also served as an Advisor at the BRI Research Institute and a Commissioner at the Indonesian Microfinance Professional Certification Institute (LSP-MFI) .


The positions in non-profit organizations that he still holds are as Advisor (and Co-founder) of the Indonesian Microfinance Expert Association (IMFEA) , Member of the Indonesian Association of Economics, Cooperatives and Microfinance Lecturers (ADEKMI) , and Chairman of the Expert Council of the Indonesian Financial Literacy and Inclusion Society Association (AMLIN) .


Other formal jobs that are still being carried out currently are as a Consultant for Abler Nordic (Investment Services) which is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, Expert for the BRI Research Institute , and Commissioner of PT Bara Anugrah Sejahtera (Coal Mining Company) .

Made Arya Amitaba, SE., MM

Founder & Membership Committee of BPR

Made Arya Amitaba , who was born in 1972 , after completing his Bachelor's degree at Undiknas Denpasar in 1996 and as the 2nd generation at PT BPR Sukawati Pancakanti (BPRKanti) in 1998 during the 97/98 monetary crisis , through the EGMS was appointed as President Director until now. This man who has been involved in the BPR world all his life, who did not have a career in banking but instead pursued a career in the BPR association , where in 2002 he served as Chairman of Perbarindo Gianyar Regency , continued in 2006 serving as Chairman of the DPD Perbarindo Bali , and finally in 2010 served as Deputy Chairman of the DPP Perbarindo .


This man from the City of Arts, Sukawati, Gianyar, Bali, is enthusiastic about fighting for BPR in its khitah as a "community bank" , as was the birth of BPR through Pakto 88 , and also helped give birth to Apex Bank which was launched in 2006 at Bank Indonesia Bali as a pilot project .


Now BPRKanti carries out the functions of Apex Bank with the ArisanKu Savings product which has been running for 18 years and is now followed by 105 BPRs throughout the archipelago .


This true activist, who is not only active in Perbarindo , also currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Bali Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WKU) for Banking , Chairman of the Bali Student Regiment Alumni , Chairman of the Undiknas Denpasar Student Alumni , Chairman of the Gianyar High School Alumni , is also active in the Bali KNPI , and as Chairman of the Sukawati Traditional Village Sabha (a kind of Chairman of the DPR for Traditional Villages).

Franky Suhenda

Founder & President Director

Franky Suhenda is an experienced entrepreneur who has built various businesses since 2003 when he founded Jaring Synergy Mandiri , a company focused on Business Process Operations Outsourcing , Contact Center , and Merchant Privilege Program services. Jaring Synergy Mandiri has been operating for more than two decades and has won several awards as the Best Contact Center in Indonesia (ICCA) in 2022 and 2023, which proves the recognition from stakeholders for the added value and contributions provided. He leads nearly 800 employees under the auspices of Jaring Synergy Mandiri.


Becoming an entrepreneur gave him a path to pursue a business that not only pursues commercial goals, but more importantly, answers his soul's calling to do good for humanity. In 2013, Franky decided to enter the microfinance business by establishing Dana Mandiri Group , which focuses on serving communities underserved by formal financial services. To strengthen his micro business portfolio, he also acquired BPR Dana Mandiri Bogor (Bank DMB) in 2013. There, Franky carried out a fundamental transformation of his business model by focusing on micro customers, implementing the Grameen Bank business model to empower women micro entrepreneurs to start and/or grow their businesses through group loans facilitated by Bank DMB. This discipline and hard work have had a real impact, evidenced by the awards received by Bank DMB for several consecutive years from 2016–2021 as the BPR with the Best Performance and Growth in the asset category of IDR 250–500 billion (Infobank and The Finance).


Franky's unwavering passion in building businesses and facing the challenges and turbulence of the business world is rooted in his solid professional track record in the banking and financial services industry. He started his career at Bank Universal in 1992–2003 with strong experience in Consumer Banking and Payments. Then he was appointed as CEO of Sahabat Group (Triputra Group) in 2007–2012 , managing 1 commercial bank, 5 rural banks, 1 venture capital company, 1 multifinance company, and 1 foundation. Along with that, he was also appointed as Independent Commissioner of Bank Purba Danarta and President Director of Bank Sahabat Purba Danarta (now BTPN Syariah, one of the largest micro banks in Indonesia) , and CEO of Dana Mandiri Para Sahabat .


Franky earned a Bachelor of Economics degree majoring in Business Management, cum laude, from the Faculty of Economics, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, in 1992 .
